Whether you are covering basketball or one of the other 19 sports at GW, you will interview the players and coaches behind the scenes. Those who work the hardest during the fall season are rewarded the coveted basketball beats come November, regardless of their year in school.
You may be following the teams wherever they travel, be it Philadelphia for a big Atlantic 10 game against St. Joseph's or Sacramento for the NCAA tournament.
But basketball isn't the only sport we cover; we regularly report on other GW teams like lacrosse, softball and golf. We're also the only college paper to have daily access to the Washington Nationals.
